36! Another year older. Another year wiser. Maybe. This time of year is always a time of reflection for me. Summer is ending. School is beginning. I celebrate another trip around the sun.

Personally, last year was hard. I lost 2 people who I love very very much. I spent much of the year wading through my grief, while still trying to be the best wife, mother, friend, and human I could be. My art and writing became a place to help me process some of that grief. My art has always been a place for me to work through my emotions, and for that I am thankful.

I wrote my future self a letter on my birthday last year. I am proud to say I for sure accomplished more than a few of the goals I set out for myself. I launched 2 collections, I was published in a magazine, and I hosted my first art retreat! (I am excited to host my second one in 10 days!)

The next 365 days hold so much excitement and adventure for our family. The most exciting being that we will move Summer 2024. No clue where to yet, but I know we will do our best to make the most of the rest of our time here in Italy.

I hope to continue to bring beauty to your life through my art. I hope to help more people explore their creativity through my classes and retreats. I hope to bring more joy to my community through art.
