Summer Art Retreat in Slovenia

I could not have asked for a better weekend with a more wonderful group of women.

On Day 2 of the Summer Art Retreat our group was sitting by the lake painting. It was a beautiful day so there were lots of other people enjoying the lake too. At one point 2 ladies approached us and asked if we have anything to trade for 2 bottles of soda. We had 2 of my art cards and they happily made the trade. A few days later I received these photos and this message:

“Heyy, we Re-traded your paintings today...Well Just The ones Witz The flowers.

But we went to Črna prst Yesterday and slept in a House up on the hill and traded The paintings for a Cup and a chocolate table.”

One of my favorite things about art and travel is how they bring people together. We had lots if fun laughing with this group and I love to see my art travel the world.
